Ivermectin monosaccharide is a potent inhibitor of nematode larval development but is devoid of paralytic activity. The monosaccharide is used as a sensitive probe for the detection of some types of ivermectin resistance. Soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO. Limited water solubility
