Laminin is a major component of basement membranes and stimulates neurite outgrowth, promotes cell attachment, chemotaxis and cell differentation. Promotes the adhesion and growth of human carcinoma and sarcoma cells, human retinoblastoma cells, liver cells, mouse neuroblastoma cells, mouse embryonal carcinoma cells, and seems to be involved in the development of embryonal tissue. Sequence (linear): Cys-Ser-Arg-Ala-Arg-Lys-Gln-Ala-Ala-Ser-Ile-Lys-Val-Ala-Val- Ser-Ala-Asp-Arg Sequence is derived from mouse/rat Laminin A Chain. M.W: 2016.11 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
