Murine MIP-2, a 7.8kD protein containing 73 amino acid residues including the 'ELR motif common to the CXC chemokine family that bind to CXCR1 or CXCR2. Source: yeast Biological Activity: The biological activity of recombinant murine MIP-2 is determined by a localized inflammatory response when injected into the footpads of mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Reconstitute to with sterile dH2O or buffer, aliquot and store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
