Macrophage, Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 (MCP-1) is a member of the CC subfamily of chemokines. MCP-1 is a pro-inflammatory cytokine which acts both as an activation factor and as chemokine for monocytic cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Neutralization. Furthermore the antibody can be used to stain cells containing MCP-1 in frozen sections as well as in cells cultured on cover slips. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
