Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa2-end of human MKK6 with N-terminal GST tag expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system (NM_002758.3). Specific Activity: Enzyme reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 50mM HEPES, pH7.5, 10mM magnesium chloride, 1mM EGTA, 200uM ATP, 0.01% Brij-35, 100ng of inactive MAPK14, 2uM substrate (SER/THR 4) at RT for 1 hour. Developer solution was added to reaction and reaction was stopped after 1 hour of incubation at RT. Applications: Suitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -70C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
