CHO cells expressing mouse MARCO.
MARCO is expressed by distinct populations of macrophages in the spleen and lymph nodes, but is rapidly induced on macrophages in other tissues (e.g. Liver Kupffer cells) during infection or LPS treatment. Clone ED31 binds to the C-terminal cysteine rich domain of MARCO, and has been shown to block ligand binding. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Not suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:200-1:400 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from immunized rats. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
