Synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of human MARK3 (KLH).
MARK proteins are involved in the specific phosphorylation of microtubule-associated proteins for tau, MAP2, and MAP4. MARK3 was originally identified as a marker that was induced by treatment with DNA damaging agents, and loss of MARK3 was found with carcinogenesis in the pancreas. MARK3 may be involved in cell cycle regulation, and alterations in the MARK3 gene may lead to carcinogenesis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
