Specific Activity: ~30,000u/ml 5000u/mg protein ~6000u/E280 Unit Definition of Activity: That amount of enzyme causing an increase in the rate of spontaneous mutarotation of one micromole of alpha-D-glucose to beta-D-glucose per minute at 25C and pH 7.0. One unit is equivalent to approximately 0.04 units in a glucose dehydrogenase-coupled assay at 25C and pH 7.2 or approximately 0.0035 units in a GO/HRP coupled assay at 37C and pH 7.2 Storage and Stability: Store at 4C. Do not freeze. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
