Human myoglobin is a 17.5kD protein which transports oxygen from the sarcolemma to the mitochondria in heart and muscle cells. Source: Purified myoglobin, from human heart. Molecular Weight: ~17.5kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoassays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
