Human Neurturin (NTN) and Human GDNF comprise a family of TGF-beta related neurotrophic factor which have trophic influences on a variety of neuronal populations. Neurturin promotes the survivability of certain sympathetic and sensory neurons through interaction with distinct set of GDNF-like receptors. Recombinant human Neurturin is a homodimeric 23.6kD protein consisting of two identical subunits each containing 103 amino acid residues. Biological Activity: Human Neurturin at a concentration of 100ng/ml will support the survival of 65% of newborn rat sympathetic neurons. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, carrier protein. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Reinheit:
98% by SDS-PAGE. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug).
