Nitric Oxide Synthase Cofactors consists of compounds necessary for the activity of all members of the nitric oxide synthase (NOS) family including iNOS, eNOS, and bNOS. The combination of flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), flavin mononucleotide (FMN), and calmodulin are supplied in HEPES buffer at 25X of optimal concentration for NOS activity. Can be used with our Ultrasensitive NOS Assay, product number N5350-33 when you using purified or recombinant NOS in the assay. The cofactors can also be used in any other assay where purified or recombinant NOS activity is required. Storage and Stability: Store Nitric Oxide Synthase Cofactors at -20C. Store other components at 4C. Stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
