Produktbeschreibung

Full length recombinant corresponding to human PDE8A1 with an N-terminal GST tag, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Genebank: NM_002605. Specific Activity: As reported Unit Definition: 1 unit is the amount of PDE8A1 that will convert 1 pmole 3, 5-cAMP to 5-AMP per minute at 37C. Assay Conditions: 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4, 10mM MgCl2, 0.1mg/ml BSA, 0.05% Tween-20, 200uM cAMP and serial dilutions of PDE8A1 at 37C for 20 min. Quantified by 5 nucleotidase cleaving the 5-AMP product and releasing the phosphate group which is detected by Malachite Green Reagent. Applications: Suitable for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applicaations not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -70C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
