Prostate Specific Antigen is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 34kD and an isoelectric point between pH 6.8 and 7.5. It is located in epithelial cells located in the ducts and acini of the prostate. It is also found in normal, benign hypertrophic and malignant prosta Source: Free PSA, from human seminal fluid. Molecular Weight: 34kD (monomeric protein) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
