Source: PSA from human seminal fluid, ACT from human plasma Purity: 95% (SDS-PAGE) Protein Content: 1mg/ml PSA : Total Protein Ratio: 0.3-0.7 (A280 (Emg/ml = 1.0)): Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and for antigenic applications in immunological protocols. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by packaging into smaller sizes and freezing. Biohazard Statement: Tested and found negative for HIV 1 & 2, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C. Although source materials have been tested for certain diseases, no test can absolutely assure the absence of all infectious agents. Therefore, this product should be handled as a potential biohazard.
