Native Protein G is a surface receptor from Streptococcus sp. which binds the Fc portion of immunoglobulins, binding 2 molecules of IgG. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:20,000-1:200,000 Western Blot: 1:10,000-1:40,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000 Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Reinheit: Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Single band by Immunoelectrophoresis.
