Produktbeschreibung

Quiniomycin A is a cyclic depsipeptide metabolite. It has broad activity against bacteria, fungi and viruses and has found application as an antitumor agent. Quinomycin A acts by bifunctional intercalation of nucleic acids. Recent research has shown quinomycin A to be an extremely potent inhibitor of Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1). This transcription factor plays an essential role in tumor progression and metastasis. Related to: Qunaldopeptin. Appearance: Supplied as a light tan to off-white solid. Purity: 99% by HPLC Solubility: Soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
