Restriction Enzyme Buffer used to optimize enzyme activity Form (1X Buffer Compostition): Supplied as a liquid in 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.5, 10mM magnesium chloride, 100mM potassium chloride, 0.1mg/ml BSA. Concentration: Supplied in a 10X concentrated stock. Storage and Stability: Aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: This buffer contains BSA. In order to avoid the risk of bacterial growth, do not store buffer containing BSA at 4C for periods longer than one week. If buffer is to be stored at +4C it should be aliquoted into small portions and the main stock should be kept at -20C.
