Rottlerin is an inhibitor of PRAK (IC50 1.9M), MAPKAP Kinase 2 (IC50 5.4M) and CaM Kinase III (3-6M). Rottlerin inhibits PMA-induced edema in mouse ear. For use as an Inhibitor of PRAK, MAPKAP kinase 2, and CaM Kinase III activity. Also shown to act as a direct mitochondrial uncoupler. Thought to stimulate autophagy by targeting upstream mTORC1 control pathways.
