Produktbeschreibung

S1 Nuclease degrades single-stranded DNA and RNA yielding 5-phosphoryl-terminated products. Applications: Removal of protruding single-stranded termini in double-stranded DNA. Selective cleavage of single-stranded DNA Mapping RNA transcripts Quality Control: No double stranded DNA digestion was detected after incubation of 10units of S0050-01 with 1ug pUC 19 plasmid DNA for 1hour at 37C. Unit Definition: One unit hydrolyses 1ug of denatured calf thymus DNA per minute at 37C, pH 4.6. Inhibitors: EDTA, citrate and high concentrations of SDS Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
