Blocking peptide for antibody S1010-87L6. A 15-aa peptide sequence from the C-terminal, cytoplasmic domain 6 of Human SGLT-3. Poorly conserved in mouse and porcine SGLT3. No significant sequence homology exists with other SGLTs. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Also suitable for antibody blocking experiments. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1ug/ml (for coating ELISA plate) Antibody Blocking: 5-10 ng per 1ug of antibody S1010-87L6. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 6 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS prior to use. Aliquot reconstituted peptide to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
