Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-617 with N-terminal His-Tag expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Accession: NM_203280. Specific Activity: ~2pmol/min/ug Assay Conditions: Assay was done in Kinase buffer containing 1mM DTT using 20uM Sphingosine and 20uM ATP. Reaction was done at 30C for 45 min. Amount of ATP transferred was calculated using Kinase-Glo reagent. Applications: Suitable for use for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
