A peptide corresponding to a 16aa sequence from near the center of human TEM7.
Tumor endothelial marker 7 (TEM7) is a 55.8kD protein belonging to the plexin family. TEM7 is strongly expressed in endothelial cells from colorectal cancer and from primary cancers of the lung, liver, brain, breast and pancreas. High expression of TEM7 is associated with metastasis and poor survival of patients with osteogenic sarcoma. Studies have indicated the existence of least four isoforms of TEM7 which include membrane bound, secreted and intracellular forms. TEM7 is not detectable in endothelial cells from normal tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin) and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2.5ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
