T2550-01H is purified human Tenascin, a secreted peptide found in the extracellular matrix that plays an active role in the development of the CNS and mesenchymal derived organs. It is also present in adult tumor vasculature and has functions in cell adhesion. Purified from tissue culture supernatant of the overproducing cell line, U251, using precipitation, concentration and dialysis. Molecular Weight: ~280-300kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Use as a standard with T2550-01B in a direct ELISA system. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
