Recombinant corresponding to a partial sequence of human Transcription Elongation Regulator 1.
This gene encodes a nuclear protein that regulates transcriptional elongation and pre-mRNA splicing. The encoded protein interacts with the hyperphosphorylated C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II via multiple FF domains, and with the pre-mRNA splicing factor SF1 via a WW domain. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence (IC): 2-100ug/ml. HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS. Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 0.5-2ug/ml. HeLa cells with 2% paraformaldehyde/PBS and then permeabilized in 90% methanol. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
