Transforming Growth Factor beta RIII (TGF-beta RIII) is a transmembrane proteoglycan that binds TGF-beta with high affinity. TGF-b RIII lacks a cytoplasmic signaling domain and functions as an accessory receptor that enhances efficient TGF-b2 binding and signaling. A soluble form of the receptor can be released by proteolytic cleavage of the membrane-bound form. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
