TREML2, also known as TLT2 (TREM-like transcript 2), is a transmembrane protein in the TREM family of immunoregulatory molecules. TREML2 contains one Ig-like V-type domain and a Ser-Thr rich region. Unlike other TREM proteins, TREML2 lacks cytoplasmic ITIM and ITAM motifs and a DAP12-interacting transmembrane segment. TREML2 is expressed throughout the B cell lineage, and it is upregulated in neutrophils and macrophages in response to inflammatory stimuli. The extracellular regions of human and mouse TREML2 share 54% amino acid sequence identity. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml validated using recombinant human TREML2/TLT-2 Fc chimera cell line Optimal dilutions should be determined researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
