TRF4-1 is a nuclear protein whose expression is cell cycle-regulated at a post-transcriptional level. Two genes, TRF4-1 and TRF4-2, belonging to this family have been identified. TRF4 is also required to maintain a different aspect of higher order chromosome structure, sister chromatid cohesion. Various isoforms of TRF4-1 with different amino acid (aa) sizes, including 541, 517, 360 aa have been described. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
