| TFAN reacts with reducing oligosaccharides in the presence of sodium cyanoborohydride to give aminoalditol derivatives, useful for linking to proteins or solid matrices. Treated this way, reducing oligosaccharides were easily separated by HPLC. Melting Point: 119-120C Solubility: Diethyl Ether, Ethanol, Ethyl Acetate Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. |
