Free human cardiac troponin I
Troponin I is 1 of 3 subunits that constitute the troponin complex which plays an important role in the regulation of skeletal and cardiac muscle contraction. It is presented in cardiac tissue by a single isoform with a molecular weight of 29kD and is known as a specific marker for cardiac tissue damage. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
