Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa722-733, C-NLKQKRDENYQK, in the internal region of human TRPC1.
Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. Seems to be also activated by intracellular calcium store depletion. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 3.75ug/ml Requires HIER citrate buffer, pH 6.0 ELISA (Peptide): 1:32,000 Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
