Recombinant corresponding to aa1-455 of human beta-Tubulin, expressed in E.coli.
Tubulin is a major cytoskeleton component that has five distinct forms. Multiple beta Tubulin isoforms have been characterized and are expressed in mammalian tissues. Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha-chain. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:1000-1:5000 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
