TNFR1 is present on most cell types and is considered to play a prominent role in cell stimulation by TNF-alpha. Induction of cytotoxicity and other functions are mediated largely via TNFR1. T9161-05T is an agonistic antibody useful for detection of TNF-RI. The reactivity of the antibodies with soluble TNF-Receptor is not inhibited by high concentrations of TNF-alpha. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Functional Studies and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:10 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
