TNF receptor I (TNF RI), also known as the p55 TNF receptor or CD120a, is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily. It has a molecular weight of 55kD and contains 4 extracellular cysteine-rich domains and an intracytoplasmic death domain of 80 aa, which can trigger apoptosis.1-3 Mouse and human TNF RI share 64% aa sequence homology and as a result, both human and mouse TNF-alpha bind TNF RI from either species with comparable affinities.4, 5 A variety of cells have been shown to express TNF RI, including monocytes and neutrophils,6 hepatocytes,7 endothelial cells,8 and CD34+ hematopoetic progenitor cells.9. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells for human peripheral blood monocytes Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
