Tumor Protein D52-Like 1, Recombinant, Human (TPD52L1, hD53, hD53L1) is a member of D52 gene family and overexpressed in human breast carcinoma. This protein contains coiled-coil motif, which is responsible for homo- and heteromeric interaction, and may be a regulator of cell proliferation and calcium-mediated signal transduction. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-131 from TPD52L1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was overexpressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
