Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding tyrosine 1054/1055 of human Tyk2. Species Sequence Homology: mouse and rat
Tyk2, a member of the Jak family of protein tyrosine kinases, associates with and is activated by receptors for many cytokines including IL-13, the IL-6 family, IL-10, and interferon-alpha and beta. Following ligand binding, Tyk2 is activated by phosphorylation on Tyr1054 and/or Tyr1055. Tyk2 is required for the tyrosine phosphorylation of Stat3 in the IFN-beta signaling cascade. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
