DNA-binding protein that binds to the to a 5-TGTACAGTGT-3 core sequence. May function as a transcriptional transactivator and transcriptional repressor. Probably exerts its repressor effect by preventing GATA3 from binding to DNA. May play a role in regulating the differentiation and activation of helper T-cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1:8000 Western Blot: 2-5ug/ml ~55kD band observed in human bone marrow lysates Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
