Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-222 from human UBE2S, expressed in E. coli
UBE2S, also known as ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2S, is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This protein is able to form a thiol ester linkage with ubiquitin in an ubiquitin activating enzyme-dependent manner, a characteristic property of ubiquitin carrier proteins. It catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:250-1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
