| UBTD1 contains a ubiquitin domain, and has been demonstrated to bind to p53 in cells p53 is linked to the ubiquitination pathway through its transcriptional regulation of the four ubiquitin ligases, MDM2, COP1, Siah1b, and Pirh2. The role of UBTD1 has not been elucidated, however preliminary evidence indicates a potential role in p53 signaling. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
