Mice were infected with the paramyxovirus SV5, Simian-Virus 5.
The V5 epitope tag is a small epitope, termed Pk, present on the P/V proteins of the paramyxovirus, SV5. Applications: Suitable for use in RIA, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:1000-1:5000 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: SP2/0 Ag14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
