VPS35, otherwise known as MEM3, is a ubiquitously expressed member of the vacuolar protein sorting (VPS) family, and vital component of the multimeric retromer complex, involved in the retrieval of lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans Golgi network. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml, observed in human brain cerebellum lysates on ~85kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
