VRL-1 is ubiquitously expressed. Expressed in dorsal root ganglia, trigeminal ganglia, spinal chord (Lissauers tract, dorsal horn and dorsal columns) (at protein level). PTM: N-glycosylated. PTM: Phosphorylated by PKA. Similarity: Belongs to the transient receptor family. TrpV subfamily. Contains 3 ANK repeats. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:2000 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. Aliquot and store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
