VRL-1 is ubiquitously expressed. Expressed in dorsal root ganglia, trigeminal ganglia, spinal chord (Lissauers tract, dorsal horn and dorsal columns) (at protein level). PTM: N-glycosylated. PTM: Phosphorylated by PKA. Similarity: Belongs to the transient receptor family. TrpV subfamily. Contains 3 ANK repeats. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 0.5-1ug on free-floating or paraffin embedded sections Western Blot: 0.5-1ug Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1ug Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
