Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse VEGF expressed in E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 2.5ug/ml. Incubate 1 hour at RT. High pH heat induced antigen retrieval is recommended. Neutralization: 0.08-0.12ug/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mouse VEGF (10ng/ml) ELISA: 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well. Allows the detection of 2000-4000pg/well of recombinant mouse VEGF. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
