Produktbeschreibung

Located in the nerve fibers in the central and peripheral nervous system, VIP is probably acting as a neurotransmitter. The Verner-Morrison or Water Diarrhea Hypokalemia and Achlorhydria (WDHA) syndrome is a characteristic clinical syndrome associated with overproduction of VIP from endocrine tumors. VIP-producing tumors are usually neuroblastomas or endocrine tumors in the pancreas. The localization of the antigen is extracellular and cytoplasmic. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections, cell preparation and paraffin sections): 1:50-1:100. No pretreatment required. Incubate for 1 hour at RT. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Ileum Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
