Recombinant protein corresponding Gly1506-Leu1689 from West Nile Virus NS3 Protease, expressed as a fusion protein with co-factor NS2L, expressed in E. coli.
The trypsin-like protease, NS3, and its co-factor, NS2b, play an essential role in replication and are therefore potential targets for treatment and prevention of West Nile Virus disease. Applications: Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml. Using recombinant Viral wnvNS3 Protease Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
