Wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 3A (Wnt3a) is a member of the Wnt family. The Wnt gene family is representative of a growing class of multifunctioanl factors that play a role in both tumorigenesis and patterning events required for normal differentiation and development. Wnt3a is a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. HEIR with citrate buffer. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
