The CAG promoter drives high levels of gene expression in mammalian expression vectors than CMV promoter alone.This AAV serotype 4 virus (Capsid from AAV-4 and ITR from AAV2) expresses GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) under the control of CAG promoter.
