WRN inhibitor 15 (Compound 9) is a small molecule targeting the Werner syndrome helicase, exhibiting antitumor activity with IC50 values of 37.9-46.6 µM in prostate and cervical cancer cell lines. It is a useful chemical probe for in vitro studies of DNA damage response and synthetic lethality in microsatellite unstable cancers.
