• Anwendungsbeschreibung: SB-3CT (292605-14-2) is a potent and selective inhibitor of MMP2 (Ki=28 nm) which also inhibits MMP9 (Ki=400 nM).1 The drug rescues laminin from proteolysis and neurons from apoptosis in a transient focal cerebral ischemia mouse model.2 It abrogates elevation of blood brain barrier (BBB) permeability in mouse Parkinsons disease models3 and improves specific neurobehavioral deficits in a mouse model of Alzheimers disease4.
