SCH-900875 is an orally effective CXCR3 receptor inhibitor with a pKi of 8.4. SCH-900875 blocks the activities of chemokines CXCL9, CXCL10 and CXCL11 on CXCR3, thereby inhibiting hCXCR3-mediated chemotaxis. SCH-900875 exhibits efficacy in various autoimmune and inflammatory disease models. Unexpected thrombocytopenia and aplastic hemolytic anemia with acanthocytosis are observed in long-term high-dose studies of SCH-900875[1][2].
